Thorvaldsens Museum Sculpture Reproductions

The oldest and most notable museum building in Denmark, Thorvaldsens Museum was built between 1839 and 1848 and opened in September 1848. The museum contains nearly all of Thorvaldsens original models for the sculptures he created. In addition to models the museum also houses many of Thorvaldsens drawings and sketches for sculptures and reliefs.
