From the frieze The Triumphal Entry of Alexander into Babylon. The man depicted in the antique drapery is Napoleon. A foot solder is seen pointing out the procession to Napoleon. Napoleon himself never saw the frieze as Alexander of Russia defeated him and he was sent into exile. Due to this exile the frieze was not paid in full and as such Thorvaldsen sold it to the Count of Sommariva for the cost to finish the frieze.
