Phidias Sculpture Reproductions
Phidias, an Athenian sculptor, was the art director for the construction of the Parthenon. Phidias was responsible for creating the Parthenon’s most important religious images, supervised and most likely designed the overall sculptural decoration of the Parthenon. In ancient times Phidias’ Zeus completed in 430 for the Temple of Zeus at Olympia was considered to be his masterpiece and is now considered to be one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
