Michelangelo Sculpture Reproductions
March 6, 1475- February 18, 1564. Michelangelo was considered the greatest living artist during his lifetime. Michelangelo whose full name was Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarrot Simooni was an Italian Renaissance sculptor, painter, architect and poet. He is best known for his frescoes on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, though he himself thought of himself as primarily a sculptor and indeed is famous for his many sculptures.
