Pedro de Mena Sculpture Reproductions

Baptized August 20, 1628, died October 13, 1688. Pedro de Mena was the son of Spanish sculptor, Alonso de Mena, whom he studied with and followed in his style during the early part of his career. After the death of his father he worked with Bernardo de Mora. During the course of his career he created many statues and busts of polychromed wood for churches in Spain and Latin America in the style of late Baroque.
