Michelozzo di Bartolommeo Sculpture Reproductions

1396-1472 Michelozzo is also spelled Michelozzi. Michelozzo was an Italian architect and sculptor important in the development of Florentine Renaissance architecture. Michelozzo studied with sculptor Lorenzo Ghiberti and together they created the “St. Matthew” for the church of Or San Michele. From 1427 to 1438 Michelozzo and Dontatello collaborated to build several architectural-sculptural tombs. Michelozzo enjoyed the patronage of the Medici family.
