Jean Baptiste Carpeaux Sculpture Reproductions

May 11, 1827-October 12, 1875. Jean Baptiste Carpeaux was a French sculptor well known for his lively, dynamic compositions that were in opposition to contemporary French academic sculpture. Carpeaux studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts under Romantic sculptor Francois Rude.
